Paris Saint-Germain has thrashed Ligue 1 competition through three games and in the Trophée des Champions. Manager Christophe Galtier has the squad clicking domestically.
Despite struggling last season in Ligue 1, even though the French giants won the league, many football experts expect PSG to dominate at home. However, the more significant task will be in the UEFA Champions League and whether it can translate to the competition.
Following PSG’s Sunday lopsided 7-1 win over Lille OSC, Galtier was asked about the Champions League and whether the team would like to avoid Liverpool since the English side is a possible opponent in the group stage.
“I am focused for the moment on the matches, from the next match we will play every 3 days,” Galtier said at his press conference, per Paris Fans.
“It’s very compact. We are waiting for the draw, we will see. It is above all a question of having rotation by always being efficient and to have freshness in the Champions League.”
PSG expects their play to translate to the Champions League at least against one or two European sides in the group stage depending on the draw.
Nonetheless, the more intriguing aspect of how they’re playing well is whether they can relay it against a team like The Reds over 180 minutes in the group stage.
With the way they playing, there’s no doubt they can’t take on any team in world, remember, these three guy are the most fearsome front in the world
