Paris Saint-Germain knows their opponents in the UEFA Champions League group stage and who they’ll have to get by to reach the knockout rounds. On Thursday, the capital club was drawn into Group H along with Juventus, Benfica, and Maccabi Haifa.
After the draw, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi spoke with Chaîne L’Equipe, where the club chief provided his initial reaction to the opponents the French giants will be facing off against this fall.
“This season, we watch, we work. We are at 200 percent in each training session, each match,” Al-Khelaifi said. “We do our best, game by game until the end.
“I don’t know where we’re going, and of course, everyone wants to go as far as possible in this competition. But the objective is to concentrate, to win each match, to keep a cool head, to stay calm. I think it’s very important.”
