Video: Messi Picks Up Another Assist as Mbappe Doubles PSG’s Lead Over Toulouse

Lionel Messi just continues to rack up assists at this early stage in the Ligue 1 season.

Messi recorded the fourth assist of his Ligue 1 campaign during Paris Saint-Germain’s away fixture against Toulouse. On a quick transition sequence, Messi had multiple options on just what to do with the ball in the penalty box, and in the end, he decided to dish off a pass to Kylian Mbappe.

From there, Mbappe slotted in the fifth goal of his league campaign.

Overall, Messi has now recorded seven total goal contributions in Ligue 1 play this season with three goals and four assists.
