Lionel Messi sure is on a mission to silence his critics after a roller-coaster debut season at Paris Saint-Germain.

Minutes after scoring his first Ligue 1 goal of the campaign in the away fixture against Clermont Foot, Messi notched what sure is an early contender for the best goal in France’s top flight this season. On a near flawless pass from Leandro Paredes, Messi wowed with a stunning bicycle kick goal.

PSG picked up a 5-0 win over Clermont Foot, as the Argentine forward recorded two goals and one assist in the fixture.
