Thilo Kehrer may have already played in his final match at Paris Saint-Germain, and his next stop in his footballing career could take him to the Premier League.
As noted by Sky Sports, West Ham United has made an offer to PSG for Kehrer. West Ham is now “awaiting a response” from PSG on this matter, although it does not plan to go all out to sign the versatile defender.
The Premier League side has “other options to pursue” if it ends up not signing the German international from the reigning Ligue 1 champions.
Kehrer’s future at PSG has been up in the air for quite a while. While he did end up playing in all three of PSG’s preseason fixtures against J1 League sides, manager Christophe Galtier did not call upon him to feature in the side’s 2022 Trophee des Champions Final win over Nantes and its Ligue 1 season opener against Clermont Foot.
Kehrer is currently set to become a free agent next year.
