Paris Saint-Germain is still looking to find a suitor for forward Mauro Icardi, and now the club has turned to a La Liga club to help resolve this dilemma.
However, there is quite an obstacle to this potential transfer deal, as Icardi is owed a €10 million salary for the ongoing campaign. The Argentine forward reportedly has no interest in lowering his owed money for this season in order to facilitate a transfer move elsewhere.
Amid Icardi’s uncertain future at PSG, manager Christophe Galtier recently decided to send him to the club’s second training group, which features several youth prospects and also players who the side is looking to sell in the ongoing summer transfer window.
Icardi still has yet to make an appearance in an official match for PSG this season and more so, he has two more years remaining on his current contract at the club.
