There are only a few hours left until the summer transfer window closes, so Paris Saint-Germain has little time to waste in offloading players who have no future in the French capital, one of them being Mauro Icardi.

Foot Mercato reported on Tuesday that Icardi is pushing to leave the French giants in search of playing time. The 29-year-old and Wanda Nara, his agent and wife, traveled to Istanbul last week to meet Galatasaray leaders.

The Argentinian striker and his wife were very well received by the Turkish club during their visit. Icardi was even impressed by the reception and hospitality of the resident of the city.

Additionally, the French publication reports that the discussions between the two parties revolved around a loan without a purchase option. In addition, part of the salary should remain at the expense of PSG.

Icardi would like the agreement to be concluded with Galatasaray as quickly as possible, considering the former Inter Milan striker has yet to play a single minute so far this 2022-23 season.
