Report: PSG Nearing Deal for Napoli Star as Juventus Expects to Finalize Transfer

Paris Saint-Germain’s midfield could look different by the time the ball kicks off on Sunday at the Stade Pierre Mauroy when the capital club faces off against Lille OSC.

There are two moving parts regarding the midfielder with the French giants: First, it appears Napoli’s Fabián Ruiz is nearing an arrival at PSG.

In his Monday column for Caught Offside, transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano reported that Ruiz was left out of Napoli’s latest matchday squad as it’s only a matter of time before he moves to the current Ligue 1 champions.

Romano adds that talks are more than advanced between the two clubs, and things could be done in the coming days. Second, Ruiz’s arrival would also coincide with the departure of Leandro Paredes.

The Argentine has reportedly agreed to join Juventus. Now it’s up to the Italian club to work out a deal with PSG, as Matteo Moretto reports that clubs are looking for the correct formula for the transfer. In principle, it will be a loan with a purchase option, but to be determined if mandatory or not.
