Report: PSG Club Chief Takes Over Transfer File to Land Inter Milan Star Defender

For the entire summer transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain has been linked with Inter Milan defender Milan Škriniar. Despite recent declarations from the Serie A side stating they’re not interested in selling, the capital club intends to make one last effort.

On Tuesday, French media outlet Foot Mercato reported that PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi will discuss with Inter Milan Steven Zhang the possibility of unlocking the transfer.

Additionally, Al-Khelaifi intends to negotiate again with his counterpart to succeed where Antero Henrique has failed so far. The intention of Luis Campos and Christophe Galtier is clear: the French giants must add Škriniar to the squad.

There are only a few hours left until the summer transfer window closes. Al-Khelaifi hopes that his takeover of the transfer file for the Slovakian defender can lead to a possible arrival of the defender.

Škriniar is under contract this season and can become a free agent next summer. It will be interesting to see if PSG meets any asking price for Inter Milan or roll the dice and hope they can extend their defender.
