Paris Saint-Germain is nearing a deal to see them land their third midfielder this summer transfer window. Napoli’s Fabian Ruiz is close to joining the capital club as the 26-year-old has reportedly agreed to personal terms.
Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna confirms the interest from PSG in the Spain international, who has one year left on his deal. As a result, the Italian club would rather secure a fee instead of losing him on a free transfer next summer.
Negotiations between the current Ligue 1 champions and Napoli have not yet started. However, the report details that the Italian side would let Ruiz exit for €25 million.
Aouna adds that Les Parisiens have offered a five-year contract and a salary of €5 million net per year. Furthermore, the player gave the green light to head to the French capital and refused the interest from West Ham United.
The Hammers aren’t the only Premier League club linked to Ruiz. Manchester United has recently been connected to the Napoli midfielder as a possible alternative to FC Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong.
