Report: Manchester United Insists Star Player Not for Sale Despite PSG Rumors

Paris Saint-Germain’s interest in Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford could be fizzling out before it takes off the ground. The capital club recently had discussions with the player’s representatives, but it could have all been for nothing.

ESPN’s Rob Dawson reported on Friday that the Premier League club is insisting Rashford is not for sale despite interest from PSG. Currently, The Red Devils hold the power, considering the 24-year-old has a year left on his contract plus an option that would take him until 2024.

However, Dawson does state that the situation might be different if the same circumstances presented themselves next summer. It seems as though the England international is not for sales despite having a 2021-22 season in which he only scored five goals.

As a result, if Manchester United wants to hold onto Rashford, the current Ligue 1 champions will need to look at other options to improve the forward group before the summer transfer window closes in a couple of weeks.
