Even after signing Nordi Mukiele from RB Leipzig, Paris Saint-Germain is still on the lookout for another defensive reinforcement. At the least, PSG football advisor Luis Campos still does not plan on going all out to bring in Inter Milan center-back Milan Skriniar.

As noted by Corriere dello Sport (via Canal Supporters), Inter Milan has remained stern in its asking price of €70 million for Skriniar. On PSG’s part, the club still has no interest in shelling out such a high transfer fee for him.

Overall, PSG currently does not plan on throwing in the towel in its pursuit of Skriniar, as the reigning Ligue 1 champions aim to remain in the running to sign the coveted Serie A defender.

PSG has been linked with Skriniar for much of the ongoing summer transfer window. For one, the club reportedly submitted a transfer offer of €60 million and Julian Draxler to the Serie A side for Skriniar last month, but it was not enough to sway the reigning Coppa Italia champions.

For now, PSG will continue to rely on Marquinhos and Sergio Ramos to lead its backline.
