Paris Saint-Germain is attempting to offload striker Mauro Icardi. However, with only a couple of weeks left until the transfer window closes, the capital club is up against time to ensure the Argentine forward finds a fresh start elsewhere.

Icardi needs to find a new club to kickstart his career, and the 29-year-old might have a couple of suitors. Argentine media outlet TyC Sports reports that Manchester United and Galatasaray are interested in the striker.

The former Inter Milan goal scorer has begun training separately from the Paris Saint-Germain squad and welcomes the move to The Red Devils. A move to Old Trafford would be on with an option to buy.

On the other hand, Icardi is also interested in Galatasaray and Wanda Nara, his wife and representative, has already met with the Turkish giants three times.

If the transfer were to occur, it would also be on loan, and the Parisian institution would take care of a large part of the salary.

PSG manager Christophe Galtier stated on Wednesday that Icardi would train away from the squad while looking for a new destination.

“The club is working side by side with Mauro to find the best possible solution. He had very little playing time and I think the best thing is to relaunch his career in another more favorable place,” explained Galtier.
