Paris Saint-Germain is attempting to offload striker Mauro Icardi, who has flopped in the French capital after being the replacement for Edison Cavani, but that hasn’t worked out.
Now PSG sporting advisor Luis Campos hopes to find a suitor for the Argentine. The 29-year-old has reportedly drawn interest from Manchester United and Galatasaray.
However, La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Paris Fans) reports another Turkish Giant in the picture, with Fenerbahçe interested in the former Inter Milan striker. PSG would accept a loan, with an option to buy that will have a €20 million to €25 million price tag attached.
A move away from the French capital and to a club with lowered standards than the current Ligue 1 champions, where the goal is to win everything, including the obsession with the UEFA Champions League, might serve Icardi well.
Only a couple of weeks are left until the summer transfer window closes, so Les Parisiens will need to push the file over the finish line with any interested club.
