Julian Draxler’s days of featuring for Paris Saint-Germain are all but over. The only roadblock that stands in the way of Draxler leaving PSG is that the club is looking to either offload him or come to terms with him on a contract termination agreement.
On Draxler’s part, he has no intention of departing from PSG without having received his full salary for the remainder of his contract, as noted by RMC Sport.
Draxler reportedly made this declaration clear to PSG football advisor Luis Campos when he recently met with him.
As it stands, Draxler has two seasons left on his current contract deal with PSG, which include the ongoing campaign. More so, he reportedly will earn €7.2 million for this season.
Draxler still has not yet played in a single match for PSG this season. He has been featuring in PSG’s second training group as of late, which includes players who the club is looking to sell in the summer transfer window.
It remains to be seen on just how this dilemma between Draxler and PSG club officials will be resolved.
