Paris Saint-Germain will be in the mix for a central defender this summer transfer window, and the one target that the capital club is linked to is Inter Milan’s Milan Škriniar. However, PSG is looking at other options, which include Leicester City’s Wesley Fofana.

The French giants are interested in bringing Fofana back to Ligue 1, and CBS Sports‘ Ben Jacobs stated on Monday, that Chelsea and PSG have enquired about the player and how much they’re willing to pay for the 21-year-old.

Jacobs says that Chelsea and Leicester City are close to £20 million apart in initial valuation and continues by saying The Blues and Les Parisiens value Fofana at just under £55 million, which isn’t near what The Foxes want for their defender.

Fofana is under contract until 2027, so Leicester City is in a position where they’d only sell if they receive an offer that they believe is suitable for the France international.

The Foxes will listen to fair offers for the central defender, but Jacobs adds the club would prefer to consider a sale next summer.
