Report: AS Monaco Sets Asking Price for PSG Transfer Target

Paris Saint-Germain is interested in AS Monaco defender Axel Disasi in these last few hours in the summer transfer window. The center-back might have convinced the capital club management during the 1-1 draw on Sunday at the Parc des Princes.

On Monday, French publication RMC Sport reported that Monaco is asking for at least €50 million to open negotiations around the transfer of its central defender.

The asking price for the 24-year-old, under contract until 2025, is lower than what Inter Milan has demanded from PSG for their center-back, Milan Škriniar. The Serie A side demanded more than €70 million, excluding bonuses, to let the Slovak defender go.

Disasi feels good at Monaco, where he is vice-captain under manager Philippe Clement. The France international will not be pushing to leave the Monégasques this summer.

Nevertheless, Disasi grew up in the Parisian suburbs, in Villiers-le-Bel, so there’s a homecoming side that the defender is not insensitive to the interest PSG has in him that would allow him to play in his hometown.
