Over the last couple of days, reports suggest that Paris Saint-Germain was in discussions with the representative of Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford. The 24-year-old has one year left on his deal, but The Red Devils can trigger an option to extend the contract for another season.
Despite manager Erik Ten Hag saying that Rashford isn’t for sale, talkSPORT pundit Darren Bent feels the England international needs a change in his career. Bent continued by saying the Manchester United forward doesn’t look like himself.
“I think he probably needs a change of scenery,” Bent said. “I think he’s been there. He’s been there his whole life … He just doesn’t look like himself. He’s always quite happy. He was always quite electric.
“… But he definitely looks like somebody I think he needs a fresh challenge, a fresh change.”
PSG are looking for a striker to go along with Hugo Ekitike as sporting advisor Luis Campos wants to provide manager Christophe Galtier with enough players to rotate the squad ahead of the FIFA World Cup.

🤔 “Would PSG be the right move? Probably not. Where will he play?”

Nonetheless, Bent feels a move to the French capital wouldn’t be an ideal transfer for Rashford, considering the players ahead of him on the depth chart.
“Would PSG for me be the right move for him? Probably not,” Bent said. ‘You look at who’s going to play ahead in that front line. They’ve got Messi, Neymar, and Mbappé.
Rashford appears to be staying at Old Trafford; as a result, Campos will need to look elsewhere for a striker.
