Paris Saint-Germain sporting advisor Luis Campos reportedly eyed a reunion with Manchester City midfielder/forward Bernardo Silva, who the club chief had at AS Monaco.

However, Campos might have to steer towards other options. On Thursday, Mundo Deportivo reported that barring a drastic change, Silva will continue to play for the Premier League club this season.

Manchester City reportedly wants between €90 million and €100 million for Silva, a clear sign that they’re not willing to sell unless a significant offer comes across their table.

As a result, the capital club will need to explore other targets to improve their attack. Campos wants to have depth at every position, considering the rotation manager Christophe Galtier will have to do this season due to the FIFA World Cup in November.

It will be interesting to see what route PSG takes to add another forward before the summer window closes on Sept. 1. There have been other names, such as Benfica striker Gonçalo Ramos connected to the French giants.

Nonetheless, nothing concrete, but with a couple of weeks left, time is running out to ensure another attacker joins Hugo Ekitike as a reinforcement to the group.
