West Ham United has reportedly made a €40 million bid on the table for Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca, who is also linked to Paris Saint-Germain. However, The Hammers might also be getting a transfer boost on this file.
L’Equipe (via Paris Fans) that the French giants have put the file on hold regarding Scamacca for the moment while the hope is to sell, and there are other targets in this position.
The track leading to Scamacca has gone cold as PSG does not want to reach the levels demanded by Sassuolo (around €50m). However, the leaders of the Italian club indicated that the deal with Paris was still “open” for a player.
An offer of around €40 million (plus bonuses) could relaunch discussions between the two parties, but are the Parisian leaders ready to reach this level? As it stands, no.
Above all, the decision-makers at PSG wish to reduce the squad and separate from the undesirable players such as Mauro Icardi, Layvin Kurzawa, Ander Herrera, and Georginio Wijnaldum.
