Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi has a challenge on his plate as Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant wants to set up an encounter with the 35-year-old where he wants to play goalkeeper and stop a shot from the Argentine.
In an interview with Bleacher Report’s Taylor Rooks, Morant asked for someone to set up the challenge as the guard was in a discussion where he wished to have played in the era against Micheal Jordan. However, the Grizzlies guard turned his attention to another G.O.A.T, Messi.
“Nobody got more confidence than 12. I’m never going to say nobody going to beat me on one-on-one on anything. I don’t care what it is, what sport it is,” Morant said.
“Soccer — who the best player in soccer? Messi? I want to be the goalie. Matter of fact, someone set it up, man.”
