Layvin Kurzawa played in a mere one match over the course of last season, which came in the 2021 Trophee des Champions Final against Lille OSC. Injuries marred his campaign, as while he ended up being listed on the squad lists of four UEFA Champions League matches, he did not go on to feature in a single such match.
Foot Mercato provided several notable updates on the future of Kurzawa at PSG. For one, he could once again change agents. This comes as the French international has two more years on his contract as, according to the report, he is on a €500,000 per month deal.
Foot Mercato added that if Kurzawa aims to “play,” he will have to leave the club. Taking into account the contract that he is currently on, Kurzawa “will not leave at any cost.” The report also noted that teams such as West Ham United and Lille OSC have been linked with the full-back, although it remains to be seen whether either club will soon go all out to sign him.
For now, PSG is set to soon open up its preseason schedule with three fixtures against J1 League teams, although Kurzawa will reportedly not play in any of these matches.
