Paris Saint-Germain sporting advisor Luis Campos has targeted young players who have yet to hit their full potential with Vitinha and Hugo Ekitike. It seems as though the trend could continue as the French giants have reportedly inquired about AS Roma winger Nicola Zalewski.
According to Calciomercato, PSG has inquired in the last hours about the 20-year-old, who’s under contract with the Serie A squad until 2025. Zalewski appeared in 23 fixtures for Roma, registering three assists last season.
The current Ligue 1 champions aren’t the only team to inquire about the Poland international, as Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly eyeing the young midfielder. The Italian media outlet states that manager Antonio Conte fell in love with the playing style of the Roma ace.
Zalewski came up through the youth academy as a midfielder, but manager Jose Mourinho plugged him into the wing position, and he has found success. The Polish youngster has become an irreplaceable player, a jewel for Roma, and has a transfer value of €12 million.
