This summer, Paris Saint-Germain has already said goodbye to one talented player in their youth system as Xavi Simons went off to PSV Eindhoven. Now Edouard Michut could join him in leaving the French capital as they have set their asking price.
According to Sky Sports News (via Hadrien Grenier), the French giants are asking for €5 million to part ways with the midfielder. Furthermore, the report states that the teenager has plenty of suitors.
Celtic, Sevilla FC, OGC Nice, and Toulouse are interested in Michut, who is looking for a more significant role and more playing time. It will be interesting to see what PSG decides to do with the midfielder, who is under contract until 2025.
There’s plenty of potential with the player, and should they offload him, perhaps put a clause that allows them to repurchase him or a percentage of a future sale to bank on the value Michut could reach should he thrive at a new club and environment.
Nonetheless, it seems as though the teenager and club are open to a deal; whether it happens or not remains to be seen.
