Report: PSG ‘Ready to Sell’ a Coveted Napoli Transfer Target

Paris Saint-Germain may soon find a long-awaited resolution to its goalkeeper dilemma.

According to a report from Corriere dello Sport, PSG is “ready to sell” Keylor Navas, who has two years remaining on his contract with the club.

The report list Napoli as a potential transfer suitor for Navas, which comes after veteran goalkeeper David Ospina left the Serie A club as a free agent earlier in the ongoing summer transfer window.

More so, the report speculates that a loan deal could be one route in which Navas can take his talents to the Serie A side for the upcoming season.

Last season, now-former PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino opted to rotate between both Navas and Gianluigi Donnarumma at the goalkeeper position in all competitions. In the end, both goalkeepers were not necessarily fond of Pochettino’s call on this matter. For one, Navas noted during the season that this dilemma “has to change one way or another.”

For now, PSG is set for three friendly fixtures against J1 League sides in the coming weeks.
