Paris Saint-Germain is about to add some depth to their right-back situation behind Achraf Hakimi as the capital club has an agreement to sign RB Leipzig’s Nordi Mukiele.
According to the transfer window specialist Fabrizo Romano, a permanent deal is almost agreed upon between the two clubs on Saturday.
Work in progress to complete the deal with all parties after discussing personal terms. Regarding the transfer price PSG is paying to land Mukiele, Romano says the French giants will pay almost €12 million guaranteed fee plus add-ons up to a potential €16 million for the deal.
RB Leipzig had to sell the France international, who has one more year left on his deal and secure a fee rather than losing the 24-year-old on a free transfer.
Mukiele is a versatile defender whose primary role is right-back, but he can switch to central defense and even drift into the midfield if needed. As of now, it seems the right wing-back role will be between Hakimi and Mukiele.
