The future of Paris Saint-Germain striker Arnaud Kalimuendo remains in the air as the 20-year-old is linked to Leeds United. The Premier League club recently sold Raphinha and needs to replace his offensive production, which is why they have their eyes on the France international.
CBS Sports‘ Ben Jacobs provided the latest on where this summer stands, stating that Leeds United remains interested and what is holding up a possible deal is the internal evaluation of the player.
Jacobs adds that manager Christophe Galtier wants to keep the young striker, who has impressed during these two friends on PSG’s Japan tour. In addition, Kalimuendo has scored in both games, which might also be causing the English side to push for a deal.
However, sporting advisor Luis Campos is open to a sale, and reports would suggest that the current Ligue 1 champions want €25 million for the striker. It will be interesting to see who wins out, whether Galtier keeps the player he rates, or Campos secures a deal.
