Report: PSG Fighting with Barcelona, Real Madrid to Land Wonderkid

Paris Saint-Germain has shifted its transfer philosophy under new sporting director Luis Campos where they target young players with high upside, such as Palmeiras wonderkid Endrick.

Campos has already begun targeting the young talent in Europe, and it’s only a matter of time before he decides to head to places like Brazil and secure young talent out of the South American country.

In his column for Caught Offside, transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano gave the latest regarding the 16-year-old with every top European club on his trail.

Romano also revealed that Endrick has a €60 million release clause in his Palmeiras del, which will be tempting for Europe’s elite soon.

“All the top European clubs are monitoring Endrick. Really everyone, from the top English clubs to PSG but also Real Madrid and Barcelona, who have very strong scouting in South America,” Romano explained.

“If you think about the top ten clubs in Europe, everyone has explored Endrick’s situation because he is considered a top player of the future.”

“The price is €60m – the new release clause in his contract; but to decide the next club it will take many months. It is a long process and the player’s agents as well as his father Douglas want to choose the right project.”

For PSG, there’s the possibility of losing Kylian Mbappé in three years and perhaps having the heir apparent to the 23-year-old in Endrick that would allow the capital club to begin a new phase with one of the top young Brazilian talents.

Nonetheless, the current Ligue 1 champions will have their work cut out for them if they decide to land the teenager.
