Paris Saint-Germain remains on the lookout for reinforcements over the ongoing summer transfer window, and it is reportedly looking to bolster its attacking depth.
According to Foot Mercato, PSG football advisor Luis Campos is aiming to have the team play with two strikers. As it stands, PSG only has one true striker on its roster in Mauro Icardi, although the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi have had plenty of experience in playing as a center forward over the years.
Among PSG’s forward transfer targets is Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski. PSG is “dreaming” of bringing in the reigning European Golden Boot winner to the club.
Over the past months, Lewandowski has mainly been linked to a move to Barcelona. The Polish striker reportedly only wants a move to Barca. This all comes after he noted during a press conference with the Poland national team in May that his run at Bayern is “over.”
Lewandowski is coming off of a season where he scored 35 goals in 34 Bundesliga matches.
