Paris Saint-Germain sporting advisor Luis Campos is preaching depth and competition for certain positions in the starting eleven. Despite having Nuno Mendes and Juan Bernat at left-back, the club chief reportedly wants Ramy Bensebaini.
According to the German media outlet Bild, the capital club is interested in landing the Borussia Mönchengladbach, who has one year on his contract. As a result, the Bundesliga side could sell to not lose the Algeria international on a free transfer.
However, PSG isn’t the only club eyeing Bensebaini, as AC Milan is also in the mix for the 27-year-old. Both parties are also bidding over each other for Lille OSC midfielder Renato Sanches, so it will be interesting to see how this plays out.
The German doesn’t have that much leverage in discussions with other clubs regarding a possible asking price. Transfermarkt puts the defender’s transfer value at €17 million, an ideal price for a player that could be rotated in the lineup.
