Adrien Rabiot did not necessarily leave Paris Saint-Germain on good terms. PSG aspired to sign him to a contract extension deal, and he was linked with a possible €8 million per year agreement. However, the veteran midfielder did not see eye-to-eye with the club on this matter.

In the end, Rabiot made his last appearance for PSG in a UEFA Champions League fixture back in Dec. 2018, as he was eventually dropped from now-former club manager Thomas Tuchel’s regular squad lists.

Rabiot wound up joining Juventus, and as of late, he has been linked with a possible return to PSG under football advisor Luis Campos.

However, Foot Mercato notes that Rabiot is not part of PSG’s plans for the ongoing summer transfer window.

PSG is on the lookout for more midfield reinforcements after signing Vitinha. The club is not looking to sign Rabiot but is rather aiming to bring in Lille OSC talent Renato Sanches.

Overall, Rabiot has a mere one year remaining on his contract with the Serie A side.
