The future of Neymar Jr. continues to be discussed by various media outlets. The latest in the saga would predict two players are at odds over the Brazilian remaining at Paris Saint-Germain.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Kylian Mbappe wants Neymar out of the squad due to some indiscipline. The Spanish media outlet adds that Lionel Messi wants the 30-year-old to continue in the club for his contribution as a footballer and morale in the squad.
It’s no secret that outlets in Spain believe Mbappe has control over personnel decisions at the capital club, which is why people should take this information with a grain of salt. There’s a running gag that for whichever target they are linked to, the decision runs by the 23-year-old.
Now that’s not the case, would the check-in and getting the opinion of the France international more than likely help in their decision-making process. However, Mbappe isn’t in the front office helping with the final decisions.
Furthermore, new manager Christophe Galtier has already given his verdict on the future of Neymar. Unless a club presents a fee that represents the value placed on the forward and can afford his fees, it’s unlikely he leaves.
