Fulham will be playing in the Premier League this upcoming season after earning promotion, and now they’re looking to resolve their goalkeeping situation. Paris Saint-Germain shot-stopper Sergio Rico is reportedly one of the names the English side is considering.
According to Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth, Fulham is interested in signing PSG keeper Sergio Rico on a loan deal. Rico had a loan spell at Fulham during the 2018-19 season, so he’s familiar with the club.
Rico has no future at PSG, considering the Spain international is third on the depth chart behind Keylor Navas and Gianluigi Donnarumma. The 28-year-old spent part of last season on loan with Mallorca, so the Ligue 1 side is open to letting him exit.
The goalkeeper is under contract until 2024, so a loan deal might work for the French giants, but they might have their heart set on selling the player, who has a transfer value of €4 million.
