Paris Saint-Germain has already made their first summer signing with the addition of former FC Porto midfielder Vitinha. However, they also have to ponder allowing players leave who don’t have a future in the French capital, one being Mauro Icardi.
According to transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano, newly promoted Serie A side Monza is trying to sign Icardi. However, the Italian journalist says that it’s considered more than a complicated deal to get done.
Monza’s CEO Galliani contacted Wanda Nara to inquire about the 29-year-old’s situation. Nonetheless, there’s still nothing advanced, no answer from the player side.
Icardi has been a disappointing signing after the club opted to buy the player following his loan stint in 2019-20. The Argentine was supposed to be the replacement for outgoing Edison Cavani.
During his time with the French giants, the striker has appeared in 92 fixtures scoring 38 goals and recording ten assists since arriving from Inter Milan.
