This summer, Paris Saint-Germain is keen on adding a central defender and for weeks has been linked to Inter Milan’s Milan Škriniar. However, the capital club might now have another target, Leicester City’s Wesley Fofana.

L’Equipe reports that The Foxes are counting on Fofana for next season, considering the 21-year-old is under contract until 2027. However, the Premier League side will not oppose a departure should an interested club offers an amount deemed fair by the management.

PSG sporting advisor Luis Campos has several leads in mind if negotiations with Inter Milan fail for Škriniar. Nonetheless, no approach has taken place for the moment, and the estimate of the price of his departure is also high.

Furthermore, the current Ligue 1 champions aren’t alone in pursuing the former AS Saint-Étienne defender, as Chelsea and Manchester City are also keen on the Leicester City man.

The report doesn’t state how much the English club will want from an interested club, but Fofana won’t be leaving King Power Stadium on a cheap sale with still five years left on his deal.
