Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Luis Campos could revitalize the central defense this summer. There are rumors linking Presnel Kimpembe away from the French capital, and now there’s another central defender Campos has in mind, Lucas Hernandez.
The Portuguese club chief is already hoping to lockdown Inter Milan’s Milan Skriniar, but that won’t be the only central defender Campos wants. According to AS, the France international is a player that PSG’s management likes.
Newly appointed manager Christophe Galtier has implemented a novel system of three central defenders. Hernandez’s versatility attracts the French giants as he’s capable of playing both as a full-back or as a central defender in various formations.
So far, PSG has not transmitted any offer and has made their interest in the player known. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich has set a goal of renewing Lucas Hernandez’s contract.
The fact that he has two years left on his contract has put the Bavarian team in a delicate situation since if he has not renewed next year, they will run the risk of ending up free in 2024 when his deal expires.
