Following the transfer of Raphinha to FC Barcelona, Leeds United is looking to replace the goals left behind with the departure of the Brazilian. The Premier League side’s target is Paris Saint-Germain’s Arnaud Kalimuendo.
There have been various reports regarding Leeds United’s interest, but L’Equipe reported on Tuesday that the feeling might not be mutual. The French media outlet states that Kalimuendo would rather stay at PSG.
Despite not being guaranteed minutes at the capital club with Neymar Jr., Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé, and the arrival of Hugo Ekitike all on the attack, the 20-year-old would rather fight for time than leave.
During the tour in Japan to prepare for the upcoming season, the forward impressed newly appointed PSG coach Christophe Galtier, as he scored in two of the three friendlies.
Leeds United will likely have to look at other options to improve their attack as the English side is linked to Charles De Ketelaere, Martin Terrier, and Ben Brereton Diaz.
