The rumors linking Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe to Chelsea continue to grow louder. The move to Stamford Bridge would allow the 26-year-old to reunite with Thomas Tuchel, which is why he might prefer that transfer.
According to Foot Mercato, despite the interest from Juventus, who is looking for a center-back with the likely departure of Matthijs de Ligt, Kimpembe has his heart set on a move to the Premier League ahead of one to Italy.
Chelsea desperately needs to replace their central defense after the English side saw Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger this summer. The Blues are currently in the mix for other center-backs to overhaul the position, and Kimpembe would be a vital piece to the rebuild.
