Presnel Kimpembe could be on his way out of Paris Saint-Germain this summer if an offer that the capital club seems suitable arrives at their offices. The 26-year-old is under contract until 2024 but already has his eyes on a new deal.
According to L’Equipe, former PSG and current Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is on the lookout to possibly reunite with Kimpembe at Stamford Bridge. Furthermore, the French media outlet states that the German tactician is pushing his club to make an offer.
The Blues have lost two central defenders this summer, with Antonio Rudiger going to Real Madrid and Andreas Christensen joining FC Barcelona. As a result, Chelsea is rebuilding their backline, and it seems like Tuchel wants Kimpembe to replace one of those two players.
Les Parisiens are reportedly in the mix for Inter Milan defender Milan Škriniar, and they could be in the market for another central defender. So Kimpembe could either welcome the competition or depart and seek a club that can guarantee him starter minutes ahead of the World Cup.
Chelsea isn’t the lone club connected to the France international, as reports suggest that Juventus sees Kimpembe as a possible replacement for Matthijs de Ligt.
