Chelsea is in the middle of a rebuild as they have to replace Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rüdiger, who both left this summer on free transfers. As a result, to begin this new era, manager Thomas Tuchel is looking at various targets, such as Presnel Kimpembe.

Tuchel had the 26-year-old at Paris Saint-Germain, where the defender is under contract until 2024. However, there’s plenty of speculation over the France international’s future, and the German boss is keen on a reunion at Stamford Bridge.

According to The Telegraph, Tuchel wants Kimpembe, but it doesn’t state what fee they’re willing to pay to secure the defender. A recent report suggests that PSG is keen on an asking price of €50 million

The current Ligue 1 champions are also in the market for a central defender. They perhaps could be open to letting Kimpembe, who might not want the competition at his current position, instead have guaranteed minutes. Kimpembe made 41 appearances last season, scoring two goals and recording one assist.
