A recent report from Spanish media outlet AS linked Paris Saint-Germain to FC Barcelona goalkeeper Iñaki Peña.
The information in that piece connects sporting advisor Luis Campos, who has a connection with the 23-year-old during his time as an advisor for Galatasaray, a team in which the Spanish goalkeeper was on loan last season.
However, Sport reports Peña knows nothing of possible interest from PSG. In the last hours, information has materialized that pointed to a possible departure of the Barcelona goalkeeper in the direction of the French capital.
Nonetheless, the Barcelona goalkeeper is entirely unaware of this possible interest. On the contrary, the youth squad wants to be important in Xavi Hernández’s new project, and Peña doesn’t think about anything other than fighting for a place in the first-team team.
Despite the report, Peña is entering the final year of his contract, and in January can talk with clubs over a pre-contract for next season, and Campos is a big fan of the players.
Campos is reportedly dazzled by the young shot-stopper, who is a goalkeeper with great footwork and excellent reflexes.
