Midfielder Leandro Paredes is one of the players that Paris Saint-Germain wants to offload this summer, and it shouldn’t be too challenging since the 28-year-old has a market for him. However, the price could stop some teams from pursuing a deal.
According to L’Equipe (via PSG Hub), Manchester United asked about Paredes as a possible addition to the Premier League club, which has a new manager at the helm in Erik ten Hag.
Despite The Red Devils’ interest in Paredes, they don’t reportedly plan on going any further since the reigning Ligue 1 champions want €35 million for the midfielder, leading to them walking away.
Paredes has long been of interest to clubs in Serie A like Juventus, but others could be eyeing the Argentine, who’s under contract until 2024. Nonetheless, it will be interesting if PSG stays firm on what they value the player or lowers their asking price to reach a deal.
