The preparations for the 2022-23 season at Paris Saint-Germain with various players reporting to the Camp des Lodges, some even before they were asked to return to the French capital.
Upon their arrival, the new manager, Christophe Galtier, was there to begin training sessions. Since his hiring, many wonder if the French tactician can handle the egos on the team; one of them is Neymar Jr.
Le Parisien (via Culture PSG) reports that Galtier has a plan for the 30-year-old as his idea is to play him as a No. 10 in a 3-5-2 system. The 55-year-old wants to have Mbappe and Messi up front and push Neymar back into midfield.
As a result, the Brazil international will now be positioned behind the attackers at the tip of a midfield triangle. Neymar would act more centrally than as a winger in this new position.
Furthermore, it’s a role that Neymar already understands since he’s been playing this way with the Brazil national team in Tite’s 4-2-3-1 system that has seen the forward be successful.
Is a good solution and as for the coach he may bring a great change this season
