Paris Saint-Germain will be sacking Mauricio Pochettino soon, and they’ll be looking for a new manager. The obvious candidate that the capital club wants to replace the Argentine tactician is former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane.
However, the French tactician has his eyes on the France national team job, and if Didier Deschamps doesn’t have a positive showing at the FIFA World Cup later this year, the 49-year-old could be ready to jump in.
Nonetheless, during his appearance on El Chiringuito, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez spoke about the possibility of seeing Zidane coach the French giants this upcoming season.
“I’ve always heard that [Zidane] was a Real Madrid man. As everyone knows, he is a legend with us. We love him very much. And then also in the French team,” Perez said. “He might also change his mind. That’s what I know about him. Not because of the knowledge I’ve had. But now maybe he’s in a different situation.”
💥 "¿ZIDANE al PSG? Es un hombre de REAL MADRID y de SELECCIÓN FRANCESA… pero podría cambiar de opinión".
