Sergio Ramos’ first season was a disaster considering the 35-year-old dealt with injuries and missed the majority of the season. The veteran defender was unable to shake off the injury bug that plagued him in his final year at Real Madrid.
During his appearance on El Chiringuito, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez spoke about Ramos and his first season at Paris Saint-Germain. Furthermore, he was whether time proved him right by allowing the Spain international to leave as a free agent last summer.
“After time has passed, everyone is right. I have seen at the time what I thought I had to do, and well, it still goes on. In other words, [Ramos] stage in Paris has not yet ended,” Perez said.
“Will he return to Real Madrid one day? Well, there are many players who are with us, and it depends on what each one wants to do after leaving football. But come on, Sergio Ramos is among the greats of Madrid that there has ever been.”
