Lionel Messi and Argentina began their preparations for the FIFA World Cup later this year in a Finalissima matchup against Italy, which pinned the Copa America and UEFA Euros winners. 

The Paris Saint-Germain forward had a hand in two of the three goals versus the Italians. The 34-year-old assists on the opening goal, where Lautauro Martinez scored, and the match’s final goal, which Paulo Dybala scored.
