Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma had a performance to forget in the Italian national team’s 5-2 UEFA Nations League away group stage loss to Germany.
For one, Donnarumma committed a crucial error in the second half, as his pass intended for midfielder Bryan Cristante was intercepted by Serge Gnabry. The Bayern Munich forward subsequently dished off a key pass over to Timo Werner, who then slotted in the ball to the back of the net with ease for Germany’s fifth goal of the contest.
Oh no, Donnarumma 😬
Werner scored two goals in under a minute 😳🔥

Speaking after the match, Donnarumma touched on the notable error.
“When did it happen before?” Donnarumma said. “When I was fouled against Real Madrid? If we want to cause controversy over these things, then fine, I am here to talk for the team.
“If you want to blame me, fine, I’ll take the blame, I am the captain and I keep going with head held high.”

The offseason has now come for Donnarumma, and he is slated to join PSG for its preseason schedule next month.
