It’s been two weeks since Kylian Mbappe announced his decision to extend his contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2025. The agreement to remain in the French capital came with the news that sporting director Leonardo would reportedly leave the club.
Furthermore, Luis Campos would come in and take a significant role within the club. After a couple of weeks, it seems as though the wheels are in motion to make things official.
Transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano reports that Leonardo’s departure will be announced soon, with Campos set to join PSG. Also, the sacking of manager Mauricio Pochettino will be made official in the coming days.
One more meeting is needed to make an official decision on the firing of the Argentine tactician, which will take place once president Nasser Al Khelaifi returns to the French capital.
As of now, there are plenty of names surfacing to replace Pochettino, but at the moment, there’s no clear-cut favorite outside of Zinedine Zidane, who likely won’t be coming to PSG.
