Paris Saint-Germain football advisor Luis Campos completed a transfer deal on Monday, as veteran goalkeeper Alphonse Areola joined West Ham United on a permanent transfer agreement. Areola and the Premier League side agreed to a five-year deal.
Campos is not done yet in revamping PSG’s roster, as he is also looking to find suitors for Thilo Kehrer, Abdou Diallo, Sergio Rico, Arnaud Kalimuendo, and Idrissa Gueye, as noted by L’Equipe (via Le10Sport).
Out of this select group of players, only Thilo Kehrer has been called upon to at the least be a rotational player at PSG as of late. Over the past two seasons under managers Thomas Tuchel and Mauricio Pochettino, he combined for 51 total appearances in Ligue 1 play.
More so, both Kehrer and Idrissa Gueye are slated to become free agents next year, so if they stay put at PSG past the ongoing summer transfer window, they will then play next season on the final years of their contracts.
Campos sure is set for busy coming weeks.
