Report: PSG Has Made a Decision on Who Will Replace Pochettino

Paris Saint-Germain has yet to officially announce the departure of Mauricio Pochettino, but the club is already pushing to sign OGC Nice manager Christophe Galtier. As noted by Gianluca Di Marzio, PSG is close to bringing in Galtier to become its new manager.

PSG has been linked with a multitude of managers over the past month, from Thiago Motta to Jose Mourinho.

Still, newly appointed club advisor Luis Campos prefers to bring in Galtier — a manager who he closely worked with during their run together at Lille OSC.

After leading Lille OSC to Ligue 1 triumph, Galtier decided to join OGC Nice. He continued to roll with his typical 4-4-2 setup, which saw mixed results. For one, Lille OSC scored 52 goals in Ligue 1 play, which was the second-lowest among teams that finished in the top 10 of the final league standings.

The summer transfer window in Ligue 1 is already open, but it may seem that PSG prefers to first resolve its managerial dilemma.
